June Updates, Fitness Challenges, and more

Finish T1 strong with these great winter offers from DeakinACTIVE

As the days get shorter and temperatures drop, it’s more important than ever to implement ways to keep moving every day, just like you would commit to a study routine.

It’s well established that exercise improves mental health and cognitive function, so make sure you’re getting at least 30 minutes a day as you enter revision mode for the end of T1. Download the DeakinMOVES app and join our June fitness challenges, or give our fitness centres or online wellbeing classes a try – it’ll keep you firing and in peak condition as you sit your end-of-unit assessments!

Choose your challenge

Join one (or both) of our monthly challenges this June on the DeakinMOVES app to hit your 30 minutes of daily movement. We’ve got some great prizes up for grabs! See the app (navigate to ‘Join our challenges’) for full details.

  • MOVE Mentality fitness challenge: Total 12k moves over June to go in the running to win a free two-week membership.
  • Tune up June challenge: Attend at least 10 group fitness classes over June to win a free two-week membership.
