DeakinPLAY social sport is back for T2!
DeakinPLAY social sports competitions are a great way to have fun, stay active and make new friends.
Our comps are an easy and affordable way to stay active – and we love to have fun! At Burwood we offer Netball on Monday and Wednesday nights and 3×3 Basketball on Tuesday Nights.
The competitions are open to everyone (not just Deakin students) so it’s a great way to have a run around, have some fun, and socialise with your friends or meet some new ones!
No matter your skill level or experience we encourage all ages and abilities to join the fun!

If you’re studying online or looking to decompress from home, take advantage of our free online wellbeing classes! Register below to join your live session(s) via Zoom.
- Mondays: Yoga, 12.15–1pm
- Tuesdays: Meditation, 10.15–10.30am
- Wednesday: Pilates, 12.15–1pm
- Thursdays: Meditation, 10.15–10.30am.
Get strong, stay safe
Every Wednesday from 7–10am, DeakinACTIVE provides a Safe Space inside our facilities that is welcoming and accessible to all. We invite all students and staff who may be neurodivergent, part of our LGBTIQ+ community and/or who may have a mental or physical disability, to come and train with us at no cost and with no obligations.
