    • It’s time to get moving and workout with a friend and enjoy our group fitness classes together. It’s always better working out with a mate.

Group Fitness Classes are Back!

Needing that extra motivation from attending a group fitness class? Our small group classes at Burwood & Waurn Ponds provide personalised training with a fun and social environment and will push you to get the most out of your workouts!

We have a variety of group fitness classes on offer – morning, lunchtime and evening classes – so there’s sure to be something for everyone! Online Wellness Classes

Can’t make it to class, studying off campus or just need some time to decompress for a mental health break and some time away from study during the day? Take advantage of our FREE online classes !

Deakin ACTIVE Online Wellbeing Sessions

All of our online classes are currently run via Zoom. Please register via the links below to receive access to the free live sessions:

  • Mondays: Yoga at 12.15–1pm. Register now
  • Tuesdays: Meditation at 10.15–10.30am. Register now
  • Wednesdays: Pilates at 12.15–1pm. Register now

Be Fearless. Be proud. Be Accessible. Come and join the DeakinACTIVE Safe Space program! Every Wednesday from 7am-10am* DeakinACTIVE invites all genders, abilities and identities to come and join the Deakin Fearless movement and train at any of our in-campus health facilities at no cost – and with no obligations.

If you have any kind of physical, sensory or mental disability or are from the LGBQTIA+ community come and workout with us! Lights will be dimmed and the music low for a welcoming sensory environment for everyone. The main aim is to get you all moving in a safe and welcoming environment and feeling comfortable to do so!
