Stadium

Located within the DA building, our stadium features two full-sized basketball courts available for hire. Ideal for basketball, netball, volleyball, or badminton, these courts can also be adapted for commercial or university events, functions, or testing rooms.

 

Elite Regional Sports Precinct

Situated just outside the DeakinACTIVE fitness center, the Elite Regional Sports Precinct offers state-of-the-art facilities for athletes to enhance their skills. Catering to a diverse range of users, from elite athletes like the Geelong Cats AFL team to student clubs such as the Deakin Ducks Soccer Club, the precinct includes:

  • An MCG-sized AFL oval with perimeter fencing, behind-the-goal netting, sports lighting, video recording facilities, and team benches and shelters.
  • A synthetic FIFA-grade soccer ground.
  • An eight-lane, IAAF-accredited 400-meter athletics track.
  • An outdoor teaching hub with direct access to the athletics track.
  • A 50-meter long-jump track and sandpits.
  • Basketball and netball courts.
  • A new high-quality baseball diamond.

 

Designed with accessibility in mind, the facilities feature pathways linking sports areas and seamless synthetic playing surfaces.

These facilities are available for hire at various rates depending on availability.
