Health consultations are available in person and now also available online!

Just starting out or ready to step in up a notch? Need some help in working towards your fitness goals? How about working with a trainer 1 on 1 for an individually designed home or gym-based program to cater to your specific goals?

This is a great opportunity to kickstart your fitness journey or re-assess your training and goals. Set up an appointment to have your body scan and discuss your fitness goals in person with a qualified trainer on site. They will then develop a personalised training program just for you and check in over a 4 week period to track your progress and answer and questions you may have.

DeakinACTIVE also has virtual health consultations available online to guide you through your fitness activity.

What is involved?

  • 1 on 1 – 30 minute in person consultation with one of our qualified personal trainers at DeakinACTIVE (or available to catch up online via Zoom if you prefer)
  • Pre-exercise questionnaire with goal setting and nutrition advice
  • Individual home or gym based program developed to your specific needs and goals, and loaded into the Deakin Moves app so you can exercise anytime, anywhere
  • Specific technique and exercise instruction
  • Check-ins with your trainer with any questions or queries
  • Re-assessment in 4 weeks to track your progress
